Bee Chama Honey
We love honey. In fact, every time our friend Susan goes to her property in Northern Florida, we ask her to bring us back Tupelo honey. It's been our fave.
But last time we were in Santa Fe, we stopped at the Sunday street fair and found a booth where they were handing out samples of honey. We got to taste test at least ten different varieties (yum!) including a spicy one! And we found our absolute, all-time favorite: Meadowfoam. We bought a couple of jars (including one for Susan) and we also bought a raspberry flavored variety that is perfect for tea. The honey comes from Bee Chama Honey, a New Mexico honey bee farm out of the Rio Grande Valley. They have innumerable varieties, each with their own unique flavor. Check out their website, and see where you can pick up a few jars when you are in New Mexico. We promise this is the sweetest souvenir you'll find!
